Will Bush campaigning w/progay, prochoice Rudy/Arnie HURT him with base?
Seems that all the mediawhores were SO concerned that Clinton and Gore campaigning for Kerry would hurt him.

Well, have any of them shown any level of concern that Bush's base might be turned off that he is campaigning in this last week with proGAY rights, proCHOICE and proGUN CONTROL politicians like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Rudy Giuliani? Aren't they the same type of Kerry Catholics that the right is railing against?

3. another double standard is Teresa and Arnold
notice how arnold has an accent and is an immigrant and he says outrageous horrible things like "the indians are ripping us off" and makes fun of ted kennedy's weight and john kerry being tan. and blurts out crap about his sex life. yet the whores say nothing or just laugh about good ole arnold.

but teresa says things which aren't really outrageous but mostly the truth and she gets attacked. even when she apologized to laura bush. and the whores keep talking about whether people will accept her with her accent and other stupid crap.

i'm so tired of this crap.

4. No, if his base hears reports about it, they will call them lies
There is no amount of evidence that will work with his solid base. They do no operate with logic, only 'belief' and they would be admitting personal deficiency if they ever let logic or real evidence blur their 'belief'.

5. It will hurt him with voters who are only staying with him because of the
abortion and gay marriage issues. And I know at least one person who is close to voting for Kerry but is holding back because of the abortion issue. I am pretty sure that this person will not be voting for Bush but may not vote for Kerry either. Hopefully there are many more out there like that in the crucial swing states.

6. That's the thing
They like to play up the conflicts on the Democratic side and downplay the conflics on the Republican side. I don't think that will go on forever. I mean, Democrats have had more interesting intermural battles this time aroudn (particularly since we had an actual primary, and President Bush won his primary unopposed). And there's the made up drama that President Clinton wants Kerry to lose so Hillary can run in '08 (This is made up because we have no way of knowing whether its true or not--Personally i strongly doubt it).

Anyway I think that the inherent conflicts within the party are going to get much more visible after the election, no matter who wins.

7. Now that the Chimp has again apparently changed his mind on civil unions..
I missed it, but apparently Monkeyboy said in a recent interview that he supported civil unions, which would contradict the homophobic constitutional ammemendment plank that he himself wanted as part of the Repuke platform.

That should piss off the more extreme of the Robertson right even more than campaigning with Rudy or Herr Gropenator.

11. Its panic, and it makes them sloppy
Someone (certainly not Bush or Cheney) looked at the polls, plus the approval/disapproval ratings and they finally decided to add on to another and saw that they are deadwood on a beach.

So the GOP is in full panic mode, its kinda fun to watch, but we need to keep our heads down and barrel through them in these last 7 days.

8. I doubt it
The blind followers have sold their souls. They hold up their principles with self right indignation but abandon those same principles when it is convenient for them to do so. Most of the Rethugs love Rudy and Arnie. Rudy is "America's Mayor" to them. AND let's face it, most people Dem or Rethug, love the Governator. He is socially Liberal and fiscally conservative, even though he's apparently not too smart. I worry that he really actually might just be a killer robot from the future. I like him. I didn't vote for him and I disagree with him, but he's got charm. So don't look for the base to abandon the shrub. I wonder if the polls, if honest, show a populace that is still too scared to dare speak out against Bush to "Official" sounding people on the phone. I think Shrub has a solid but small base of absolute blind support. THe rest are maleable. Kerry's support, on the other hand is the heart and soul of America, and that is why we will win.

9. No mention either of Giuliani Partners "independent review" of Rx imports

(Link no longer workss, but it is real)

Bernard Kerik, Kerik-Kerik, LLC

First, I would like to thank the task force for the invitation and the opportunity to make these brief remarks. The purpose of me being here today is to advise the task force that the former Mayor of the City of New York, Rudolph Giuliani and Partners has been retained to conduct an independent review of the safety issues related to the wholesale importation of medicines from outside the U.S.

As many of you know, I am the former Police Commissioner for the City of New York and as of recently was a senior advisor for the Minister of Interior for Iraq and a senior advisory to Ambassador Bremmer on the reconstitution of Iraq’s interior ministry . Today, I’m the CEO of Kerik-Kerik, and we’ll be working with the Mayor on this review.

The review includes documentation, site reviews, and we are making every effort to speak to people and groups on both sides of the issue, including those who support it as well as those who oppose the importation. Although the review will be on-going over the next few months, we anticipate having some preliminary findings this month, and we would be anxious to share them with the task force, as well as others. We are quite concerned about the growing support for wholesale importation of drugs or the purchase of medicines over the Internet when there are clearly so many unanswered questions regarding the safety of such practices. There are many risks to the health and safety of Americans with respect to the importation of drugs from outside this country.

10. Panic! Panic!
Bushco is on the run suddenly trying to fish for the middle. This sudden "we are gonna talk about hope" copycat business, combined with the whoring of Ghoulini and the Gropenator stink of desperation.

In short, they have found out that the Chimp sucks and the Nation has woken up to that and now they are scrambling this week to take just enough tarnish off their tin-pot puppet to get 50.000000009% -- "enough" to win, so to say.

If Abu Ghraib, the economy, Enron, govt secrecy, debt explosion, etc, etc, etc, will not hurt him with his base, I doubt campaigning with any moderate republicans will hurt him either.
