If youth voting trends are to be believed...
http://www.electoral-vote.com/ (3rd paragraph)

If youth turn out in record numbers and vote the way Zogby indicates they will, we've lost Iowa and Minnesota, we've managed to hold onto Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and New Mexico, and we've picked up Colorada, Florida, and Nevada.

I don't care what any poll says. It will not happen.
199,973 absentee ballots turned in 70% democrat
66,000 new Dems registered
22,000 new thugs
12,000 Independents
Lose Iowa? FORGETABOUTIT!

5. Yup just read that, thanks

Bush leads among younger voters in two states: Iowa (4%) and Minnesota (20%). The latter number defies all reason. I wonder if it was a typo. Maybe if enough people ask Zogby to double check this, we'll find out.

I find it odd that 20% would support this war criminal. But then again I think rationally, where as REPUKES think in some other non evolutionary way

8. Why is it odd?

It's no weirder than Kerry carrying CO's youth by 32 points.

And it might explain MN's going from an impregnable Democratic fortress (or to use a Quebec saying, "Un chateau-fort Democratique") to a swing-state trending increasingly Repuke.

11. If Kerry was that behind in the youth vote, he'd be losing MN bigtime
cuz 30 somethings and middle agers go to bush usually. but Kerry leads there.

7. Polls are bunk, fabrications.
I live in Montana and am currently attending college in Bozeman, MT. When I drive around the city, I see about a 5-to-1 Pro-Kerry support based on political signs. Even the California Transplants, as they are called, who live on 5 to 20 acre ranchettes around the city with their upwardly-mobile money culture have moderate support for the GOP. The majority of republicans who post signs are lacking Bush/Cheney from the mix. Even the GOP in this state is having a hard time swallowing the deluge of shrubbish thrown around the last 4 years. It's fall, the leaves are turning yellow and falling.

9. here's a tip: ignore state tracking polls. Kerry's own polls say he leads
OH, but Zogby said days ago that he was down 6.

also, MN's number is so hilarious, i'm surprised the webmaster used it.

oh and PA's number: add 3.

IA is tied or kerry up in nearly every other poll. plus he's killing in early voting.

I would love to win CO, but Kerry can't be winning there and not in FL. noway.

12. It's more of that "Likely Voter" crap.
Just in disguise. The basic premise that young voters often don't actually bother to go to the polls on election day, despite having firm opinions about politics. I don't think they're properly taking into account the climate of the country right now.

You know, what with it being a bit DRAFTY and all.
