9. That's it!! I'm moving to a swing state. |
|
I hate living in a red state. To think I moved here from Colorado, which is now a swing state.

16. There's a scheduled campaign stop in Columbus. |

I think it might be Thursday. I'm sure it's on the johnkerry.com site. Bush* is in Columbus the next day -- I think the Gropinator is also supposed to hit Columbus for some convention this coming weekend, so that's probably something they timed to match up so Gropinator can go out and mangle English in a completely different way from the way Bush* mangles English, then the crowd can pump their fists like they understood a single word either of them said.

19. NO SURRENDER! Lyrics, below. |
|
Edited on Tue Oct-26-04 10:23 AM by flpoljunkie
We busted out of class had to get away from those fools We learned more from a three-minute record than we ever learned in school Tonight I heart the neighborhood drummer sound I can feel my heart begin to pound You say you’re tired and you just want to close your eyes and follow your dreams down
We made a promise we swore we’d always remember No retreat, believe me, no surrender Like soldiers in the winter’s night with a vow to defend No retreat, believe me, no surrender
Now young faces grow sad and old and hearts of fire grow cold We swore blood brothers against the wind I’m ready to grow young again And hear your sister’s voice calling us home across the open yards Believin’ we could cut someplace of our own With these drums and these guitars
We made a promise we swore we’d always remember No retreat, believe me, no surrender Blood brothers in the stormy night with a vow to defend No retreat, believe me, no surrender
Now on the street tonight the lights grow dim The walls of my room are closing in But it’s good to see your smiling face and to hear your voice again We could sleep in the twilight by the river side With a wide open country in our hearts And these romanics dreams in our heads
We made a promise...

17. Catch Bruce Friday night on the |
|
Sundance Channel when they re-broadcast the Washington DC Vote for Change Tour. It was great, Bruce was great....no, it was not great, it was awesome. Make sure you see Eddie Vedder, Pearl Jam, singing Masters of War to bush*. REM was fantastic too. It comes on at 5:30 Central time, and lasts all night long!
