Is The Lack Of Vacation Wearing Upon Bush?
Is it just me or does Bush look a little - how shall one say? - beat?

Even when he is basking in the glow of supporters bound by contract to be enthralled, he doesn't seem to have much vigor these days. He certainly doesn't seem to be a candidate on the march to victory.

Contrast that to Kerry's appearance these days. Kerry is remarkably calm, and even seems to be actually enjoying himself. From what I've heard, the mood throughout the campaign is generally upbeat. I didn't hurt to have our prodigal ex-President return to the stump.

Kerry seems at the top of his game, Bush seems just a little bit peckish. At least to me. Does anyone else feel this way?

1. Campaigning is "hard work"...
heh heh...if only he'd done some hard work in his life, he may have been prepared.

3. yes - bush is sounding and looking less cocky and more the wimp he
really is. He has nothing to stand on and is fast losing targets to hide behind. Oh wait - - - Mommy and Poppy may yet come out and threaten to beat a few of us up for him!

8. Why HAVEN'T Mommy & Poppy been campaigning for him?
You know if they were, there would be TV coverage of it.
Maybe (1) he's pissed one or both of them off!
(2) Barbara is too senile to trust not to come up with another one of her "beautiful mind" comments.

6. Bush needs a 3:1 work:rest ratio (not counting weekends), or he is toast.
It's scary that he could possibly seem LESS competant than usual, but I'll be damned if this campaigning (which probably seemed like it was going to be fun in 2002) isn't some HARD WORK.
