why would anybody stand for this? its just to distract like the whole bush campaign strategy is about distraction...how can they make it HARD for people to vote? what are they challenging? if they want to vote for Kerry isn't that just challenging their vote for kerry?

I mean...how will they know who is a bush voter and who is a kerry voter? its just to discourage minorities???

I think its bullshit...and I don't know how this is going to go down but couldn't it get pretty ugly down in FL..especially with how some of those people were treated in 2000???? They are already just angry...

I can't seem to wrap my head around how someone or anyone would want to do this to another person? What happened to our democracy????

1. they will profile people
The young, ethnic and racial minorities, probably the elderly too (since they trend Democratic). If you're a white male, they probably won't bother you.

so if someone that is a resident in a county..goes to the correct precinct and is an elderly woman or a black male...they are going to question your validity??? the voters are in the right place doing what they are given a right to do and they are gonna give 'em shit???
and this is okay??? UGGHHH FRUSTRATING
I already told my daughter (she is 3 1/2 that when we go to vote on the 2nd and if anyone asks who mama is voting for you have to yell..."JOHN KERRY!!!!"

2. God good all I know is that it would only make me angrier and more
determined. But luckily, Oregon is superior and we vote by mail.

Republicans (those that still align with Bush and his band of thugs) don't value democracy, or the truth. They are fascists and this is the icing on the cake of that proof.

And goddamn it-isn't that what the police are there for, to protect people that go about their rightful business???? I would call the cops if anbody threatened me and dammit, I would go down fighting.

Enough-if you want Democracy you have to be willing to fight for it. Now I understand the elderly or infirm would have a problem, but they should have voted by absentee anyway before the fact.

FUCK the fascists!

4. The Radical Right doesn't care if what it does...
...makes any sense. To them, the end justifies the means.
Take a shot in the dark, and see what it hits.
They are scum, and soon may find themselves at the wrong end of their own assault weapons, if you follow my drift.

5. our DEMOCRACY WAS HIJACKED by the Fascist in 2000 and we are taking it
back Tuesday Nov. 2. If they trey to deny us we have to call a general strike and shut the country down. I will say it again. Unless John Kerry is recognized as our legitimate President we have to have a general strike. Hit the fascists where it will hurt them the most IN THE POCKETBOOK.

6. Maybe Paul Gigot will be able to report on another "bourgeois riot"
But this time I suspect that some Republican heads are going to get thumped if they try to intimidate actual voters rather than just imtimidating the vote counters.
