In Kalifornia (for those who don't know) he plays a sociopathic spree killer who abuses his mentally challenged girlfriend and kidnaps two travelers (one of 'em's David Duchovny). It's a very good, very intense movie, and Brad is dead on as the truly frightening killer. One critic said you get nervous everytime he shows up on screen. (another critic said that the character was so real, you could almost smell his body odor. something like that). Ebert gave it 4 stars, which is why I saw it.

I get mad when people say Brad's just a pretty face because he really can act. Kalifornia and Fight Club are proof.

of his fans. Hell of a job acting. Like I said, (other that the killing) he has many of the crazy locals down. From his performance in it, I think he (alone) could do a remake of 'night of the hunter' (Mitchum at his best IMHO)
