I just saw Woodruff (finally!) so stunned by Commerce Sec.Evans lies about the economy that she began to stutter and corrected him! He stated that the unemployment numbers are good and that consumer confidence is up despite reports to the contrary . He said all our problems are because K/E blocked the Bush Energy Plan! She stutters and said but the consumer confidence IS down and when he stated that Kerry was going to raise taxes on the middle class, she interupted and said that wasn't true.Kerry was only raising taxes on those making $200,000 or more but they didn't have time to go into it! I don't even think this ultimate media whore can stand it anymore!

13. I think it actually funny that Evans thinks just by saying something

he can make everyone believe it! People KNOW what's real in their lives. Every time I hear one of these guys say the economy is great, I realize they live in a different place than I do! I know way too many people who aren't working, or are very afraid they might no be in the near future! I can't tell you when I last talked to someone who felt their job was secure!

I didn't receive ANY tax cut! I guess it's because my kids are grown and gone, I don't ever get any capital gaines, and there aren't any tax loopholes to take atvantage of. BUT, my property taxes went up on my house, my health care premium went up, my grocery bill has doubled, and the price of gas has doubled. So tell me Mr. Evans, just how is this economy great again?
