There has to be a reason this has not been addressed much by the campaign. Would love to know what Rove is thinking.

I agree that they should respond.

What I don't know are the real facts of what happened.

A lack of a response is not a good sign.

20. well, that freeper may have a point, unfortunately.
I'm inclined to agree with the freeper's speculation that if Karl Rove isn't addressing this issue yet, he could have something up his sleeve. Rove is a cunning snake and we need to be on our guard.

for our nation. They have no qualms about the dictatortot's astoundingly incompetent team.

No bother to them that the Bush plan was to secure the oil ministry and the oil fields with no thought for securing the banks for the people of Iraq or the tons of explosives that are now pointed at our troops.

They are traitors to this nation and the world because of their irrational lust to be the dominant political power. They WANT their King George. Fockin' monarchists. They aren't even Republicans anymore.

Fockin' fools and traitors...the whole lot of them.

13. When the story broke Sunday night, the idiots said it was old news, a
yawner. Well, maybe it was old news to freepers, but not to george bush. According to Scotty, bush just found out about a week ago, and boy is he pissed.

That is a little optimistic, they don't call it the unemployment office for nothing!

"NBC already debunked this story!!!!" - and this is from the RNC. The rw is a pathetic bunch of ninnies.

To: jmstein7

Um... dont you think Rove has a better handle on this than you? You are trying to chase the kids out of the front yard with a hose..... ROVE trys to lead a trail down to the basement..... and he has done it over and over again.

Does it sound to anyone else like this poster is likening Rove to a serial child molester? If so, then... carry on, I guess.

18. LOL Freepers are freaking out
Karl Rove was not expecting this story to come up and has not come up with an answer to it. The whole concept that Bush was incompetent in the management of the war undercuts the Rove rational for supporting Bush. This is going to be fun to watch how it comes out.

19. pay attention
MSN NBC is sticking to the truth and the reporter isn't taking the GOP talking points on it.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6323933 /

Reporter Lai Ling Jew, who was embedded with the Army’s 101st Airborne, Second Brigade, said Tuesday on MSNBC TV that the news team stayed at the Al-Qaqaa base for about 24 hours.

‘No move to secure the weapons’
“There wasn’t a search,” she said. “The mission that the brigade had was to get to Baghdad. That was more of a pit stop there for us. And, you know, the searching, I mean certainly some of the soldiers headed off on their own, looked through the bunkers just to look at the vast amount of ordnance lying around.

“But as far as we could tell, there was no move to secure the weapons, nothing to keep looters away.”

21. They should be losing it over the "civil union" story.
Bush know his base is locked up no matter what he says or does at this stage of the game. So he can now show his and Laura's true colors and still keep his unthinking, ignorant sheep in tow.

That's the first time I tried.

It looks like a log of freenet postings from the old BBS days of computers.
