MSN NBC is sticking to the truth and the reporter isn't taking the GOP talking points on it.

Reporter Lai Ling Jew, who was embedded with the Army’s 101st Airborne, Second Brigade, said Tuesday on MSNBC TV that the news team stayed at the Al-Qaqaa base for about 24 hours.

‘No move to secure the weapons’
“There wasn’t a search,” she said. “The mission that the brigade had was to get to Baghdad. That was more of a pit stop there for us. And, you know, the searching, I mean certainly some of the soldiers headed off on their own, looked through the bunkers just to look at the vast amount of ordnance lying around.

“But as far as we could tell, there was no move to secure the weapons, nothing to keep looters away.”

4. What's Even Worse
is that the white powder was suspected of being a chemical weapon, according to the BBC article. The Army left what they may have thought were thousands of tons of chemical agents.

8. As well they should be. There is a very real threat that those weapons
could get into the hands of terrorists (if they have not already) and almost certainly have been used against our own troops.
Not to mention (I am going to keep hammering this!) the depleted uranium "dirty bombs" we dropped in the Gulf War and are still dropping today: the birth defects caused to Iraqi babies from this SHIT are just horrific. Children conceived by American soldiers who are being exposed to this (and they are...) face similar risks.
How's that for "supporting our troops?"
How's that for "promiting a culture of life?"

Google Image search for "depleted uranium Iraq children" will get you some serious fear and heartbreak.
