Globe and Mail Update
Tuesday, October 26, 2004
George W. Bush is the worst president of the United States in recent history.
On his watch, the country has gone from peace to war, surplus to deficit, economic boom to economic trouble. Asked Ronald Reagan's famous question -- are you better off now than you were four years ago? -- most Americans would have to answer no.
True, not all the country's problems are all Mr. Bush's fault. It is not his fault that the longest boom in postwar history ended in his presidency.

American Presidential candidates.
I sure won't begrudge the endorsement, though. The Globe and Mail is a good paper. :-)
