I must remind you folks -- * is EXTREMELY dangerous when he's a lame duck |
|
He needs to be shut down completely so he CANNOT do anything - like trying to shove more judges to pass, stupid bills to pass, or pardoning every criminal in the US that has donated to *, and himself.
He needs to be impeached immediately the minute the results are in.

2. You were not paying attention in civics class. |

The impeachment process, even if it could be done in the time required, would require many GOP votes!!!
This is never going to happen!

3. If he had any self respect (which he doesn't) he would step down early |

Now that I think of it, I am really not looking forward to even seeing the chimp at state functions (funerals etc.) I wish he would just go away altogether.

5. Can he appoint any Supreme Court judges between Nov 3 & Jan 20? |

Edited on Tue Oct-26-04 05:41 PM by PNR
Also, when do the new senators go into office -- Jan 20?
Damn! I'm embarrassed that I'm so ignorant of my country's political process & promise to never be apathetic again!!!

he can't do a thing.
Judicial appointments require the Senate there are enough stall tactics available to the Senate to stop anything.
As to anything else (like starting a war) the GOP will stop him because they know it would be suicide for their party. The public will have rid itself of Bush and the GOP will start immediately to distance itself from Bush in order to survive.
Nothing will happen.
