New SurveyUsa Polls: mixed news (mostly good)

OH: Kerry 50, chimp 47
PA: Kerry 53, chimp 45 (landslide!)
MO: Chimp 52, Kerry 45 (ok, we may lose this one, but who cares)
AR: Chimp 51, Kerry 45 (was hoping it would be closer, but still in reach if Clinton helps)

1. Polls, polls, polls
I don't think these numbers are in any way indicative of how it's going to go.

It's going to be Kerry in a walk. Maybe not a landslide, but a good, healthy, unassailable win.

2. Ohio, Oh-hell yes!
Good to see PA is trending even further toward Kerry's camp. Missouri was one i expected to go to Bush, as well as Arkansas. Howevever Clinton going down may give him a three or so point bump to make it a dead heat.

However Ohio and Pennsylvania are the two big ones. If Kerry wins THOSE states he's got at least a 70% shot at winning the electoral college, as it would put the Republicans in dire need of pulling FLorida as well as a few other state's that went to Gore in 2000.

3. the 2 that really matter, Ohio and Pennsylvania, trending out way
as for missouri and arkansas, well I think we can afford to abandon 1 and go after the other. Really we don't need either but let's take a shot at Arkansas with Clinton.

7. If MO goes Kerry there's almost no way we can lose
which is why I think MO is important, as a non-primary battle ground state.

Where's Gephardt? Couldn't he be out there for us?

8. SUSA has zero, I repeat, zero credibility.
While it's nice to see our guys ahead, seriously, SUSA is really right wing and I don't think they put a lot of effort into what they do.
