What's it mean that
Dean is getting most of the endorsements, but everyone, esp Clark, is catching up to him in the polls? Anything to read from this?

1. Two Big Things
1) Endorsements don't mean a whole lot; and

2) Dean is much more of the insider -- with tons of insider deals, now -- than he wants to let on.

2. The outsider is now an insider, and everything is inside-out
It's kinda like when you discover a cool new song, then you hear it 2 months later on a Mitsubishi commercial, and suddenly you don't like it so much anymore.

I didn't know there was a syndrome for that, Rucky. Your reply was great!

4. Getting constantly pounded by the others and the media might have somethin
to do with it too.

Plus endorsements are more bout credibility than votes.

6. About endorsements
Don't you think that endorsements guide those "undecided" somewhat? I guess what I'm saying is, if it's a political figure who is endorsing a candidate, and it's someone you respect, their endorsement may cause you to start leaning toward that candidate. If you're 18 and just got the vote, but not politically active, a Rob Reiner or Michael Moore (or Madonna or Martin Sheen) endorsement might be just the thing to sway your opinion before you did in to the meat of the issues.

Endorsements seem to be highly sought after in this race. But they don't seem to be helping Dean much. On the flip side, I can't say endorsements are the reason for Clark's rise either. So (scratches head), I guess in all that, I've done a 360 and I'm back to "I dunno?!?"
