7. They can't stand the thousands of people that turned
out to see him with Kerry. This lame ass on radio today absolutely delighted in rehashing old charges and the Lewinsky crap. They were beside themselves on the radio...you could tell by their foaming mouths they really miss not having Clinton to beat up day in and day out. Such losers!:puke:

A SCARRED, BRUISED, BEATEN but NOT DEFEATED country had the opportunity to see a real MAN...a TRULY PRESIDENTIAL man...stand up and speak out.

And oh, did I forget? FUCK CHRIS MATTHEWS.

11. After 4 years of criminal incompetence-
that whole basis of cooked outrage is rather moot, I think. Who wouldn't trade 8 more years of peace and prosperity under Clinton, personal warts and all, over the absolute mess that the Bush administration and their cowardly Republican Congressional rubber stampers have foisted on this country.

13. au contraire
his sense of humor did more to help Kerry and to show Shrub as a stunted, sterile, tree with little or no leaf cover.

His humor is sharp, so let's simply ignore it. I suspect he really supports Kerry and thinks that shrub is a danger.

15. I think he'll jump on whatever ship isn't sinking on November 2nd...
...like the worthless vermin he is.

NEVER....NEVER FORGET the FRENZY Matthews worked himself into when he saw Bush in the flight suit on the deck of the USS Lincoln. His life was FOREVER CHANGED:

http://www.msnbc.com/modules/chrismatthews/050303.asp?0cb=-s1W109515

MATTHEWS: Let's go to this sub--what happened to this week, which was to me was astounding as a student of politics, like all of us. Lights, camera, action. This week the president landed the best photo op in a very long time. Other great visuals: Ronald Reagan at the D-Day cemetery in Normandy, Bill Clinton on horseback in Wyoming. Nothing compared to this, I've got to say. Katty, for visual, the president of the United States arriving in an F-18, looking like he flew it in himself. The GIs, the women on--onboard that ship loved this guy.

Ms. KAY: He looked great. Look, I'm not a Bush man. I mean, he doesn't do it for me personally, especially not when he's in a suit, but he arrived there in his flight suit, in a jumpsuit. He should wear that all the time. Why doesn't he do all his campaign speeches in that jumpsuit? He just looks so great.

MATTHEWS: I want him to wa--I want to see him debate somebody like John Kerry or Lieberman or somebody wearing that jumpsuit.

Mr. DOBBS: Well, it was just--I can't think of any, any stunt by the White House--and I'll call it a stunt--that has come close. I mean, this is not only a home run; the ball is still flying out beyond the park.

MATTHEWS: Well, you know what, it was like throwing that strike in Yankee Stadium a while back after 9/11. It's not a stunt if it works and it's real. And I felt the faces of those guys--I thought most of our guys were looking up like they were looking at Bob Hope and John Wayne combined on that ship.

him to shill for, which is whomever will write the laws to most benefit them.

It's a form of war profiteering. It's also treasonous. They push whomever will give them more power. And that is the Republican Party.

I couldn't stop myself from responding to this BS. Not that it makes much difference, but here's my response to him.

Hey Chris,

Did I hear right? "Will Clinton help now that the dress has been to the cleaners?" If you want to make jokes about serious issues, mabey you should trade places with Jon Stewart. Why not honor your position and the interest of the public by being serious about the subject matter and respecting the intelligence of the audience. Look at the attendance numbers at Philidelphia. Depending on which media hack you listen to (except CNN's hundred and hundreds) it was 80 to 125 thousand. If you can't take the audience and the issues seriously, find another job.

What a f@#!tard!

edit: spelling

Chris Matthews: "We have a johnny-on-the-spot. Once, one time only, it took me four minutes. I now have it so that I can actually do the whole deal in two minutes. The truth is, I think excitement is dehydrating. Election 2000, I was on the air from 5 that evening to 5 the next morning and took only one potty break. I have it down pat."
Well, yes. There's a reason they call it "Hardball."<<

>>Chris Matthews: really likes the idea of a Kerry-McCain ticket, and he will grab just about any available metaphor to express his desire. Some are more telling than others. During last night's interview with McCain, he observed, "Being an independent Republican is sort of like a girl in a bikini. It‘s kind of inviting."
Well, yes. There's a reason they call it "Hardball."<<

21. It was definitely the "Bad Tweety" tonight
The "dress" remark was quickly followed by bashing Kerry for putting on a fake FDR imitation or some such nonsense (Kerry is *dignified* -- to me that's a GOOD thing for a president -- and he sounded exactly the same when he was 27!!) and jokes about whether he's using "man tan."

No remarks about how the Chimp pretends to be a Texas Yahoo for votes, fakes the "swagger," and looks like a swollen, red-faced disaster lately.

...Let alone any discussion of the problems that actually affect people's lives today and in the future!!

Yup, definitely the Bad Tweety tonight.
