What We Can Do To Prevent a Stolen Election!

We must learn from the lessons of 2000 so that we can do our best to make sure that an unelected President does not enter the White House, like last time. This time, we must be ready and watching, to make it as difficult as possible for votes to be stolen, or left uncounted, or manipulated.

Eleven Methods of Voting Manipulation from 2000

1. Striking eligible voters off the rolls
2. Intimidation - during voter registration, at the polls or in neighborhoods near polls
3. Abuse of ID cards - demanding ID if it is not legally required
4. Time-honored, low-tech cheating - punching cards in advance
5. Not allowing provisional ballots
6. Manipulating absentee ballots
7. Abusing the court system
8. Threats of violence intended to intimidate election authorities
9. Black Box Voting - electronic machines owned by partisans with no paper trail
10. Removing qualified candidates from the ballot
11. Printing fewer ballots than there are eligible voters
