1. That's a great picture from Las Vegas..
Okay..now I get to ask my burning question again..Is Lance Armstrong over from the dark side yet?

I know he was listed as a republican somewhere before he hooked up with Sheryl. And now?

2. he took a ride on AF1 with * once
i think smirk invited him because he's a texan and did his amazing cancer/TdF thing. Don't know if that makes him a repub or not. if so, maybe Sheryl converted him. I guess we'll see at the inaugural!

3. I didn't hear about the ride in the airplane..
but I saw somewhere about a year ago that he was a republican.

Yes maybe someday it will come out if Sheryl converted him to the Light!

11. I think he gave Big Dawg a bike.
Yeah, I'd had said "Stuff it, George, I'll wait for a REAL President..." but then, I don't have millions of bucks worth of endorsement contracts and a Foundation to feed...

Maybe Sheryl got a "Brazillian" and said "look, Honey, Read My Lips, no more BUSH!"

5. Sheryl's music is often dismissed as hyper-commercial pop fluff
Whether it's your cup of tea or not, in her medium (radio friendly pop/rock) her stuff is as intelligent and well produced as it comes.

9. Her version of Mississippi
by Bob Dylan is awesome. Plus, she's great in concert. She had the last concert at Philly's Veteran's Stadium before it went "Boom" and I was there.

10. exactly...
Yes, it is commercial, but it's as good as *pop* music gets...

Plus she writes & produces her own stuff, which is no small feat. It takes a lot to stay alive in mainstream pop. She could have easily been a one-hit wonder.

The self-titled second album was her best outing.

12. Heh
Sheryl would perform at the opening of a can of cat food.

Not a fan but I'm glad she's out fighting the good fight.

13. Lance...
Ah C'mon... if she hasn't converted him all the way, she must be having some impact! ;)

You know damn well that after his 5th Tour de France victory, it would be an ultimate Rove PR move to have him back at the White House again (like after his 4th win).

But the 4th win was "pre-Sheryl" days.

After his 5th win.. the BIG one... the one he needed for the record.. we didn't see him visiting the screwball who currently occupies President Kerry's future residence.

I think he didn't go this year for a good reason! :)

14. Ugh. Sheryl is a poor excuse for a human being, even if she supports Kerry
Sheryl will do anything and anyone to further her career. Ask Kevin Gilbert (if you could), or any of the other original members of the Tuesday Night Music Club.
