GAS PRICES will be the end of Bush...Period.
I read a study somewhere that estimated every .10 in gasoline prices = a 1% drop for Bush.

If they were still down to $1.50, he migh have a chance, but prices are up, and I think Bush is screwed.

When people drive to the polling places and see those $2.00+ gasoline prices, consciously or unconsciously, they will equate that with Bush, and vote with their wallet.

Without $2+ gasoline, Kerry would be in trouble.

With it, Bush is definately screwed.

1. Most people are under the delusion that Kerry would tax gas to $5/Gallon

2. You'd think people would have thought the various
... scandals and a war perpetrated by the Bush administration would have been the end of Bush, sadly not. It's a pretty sad commentary on Americans if it's the price of gas that puts Bush away for good.

The hypocricons will blame Kerry for their mess.

If kerry wins, wait and see.

Pity nothing can happen to change the minds of the  sheeple who hate the offshoring and crap economy but stil lsupport *, thinking he's still better to work on those issues. :eyes:

7. He will certainly say goodbye to any hopes for a higher gas tax
The people just won't allow it...no matter how good it is for the environment.

4. There was a hint of this in last week's CBS poll
They listed many topics and asked Americans which ones they were following "very closely." Gas prices were by far number one, with 64% paying very close attention. The election itself was at 46%.
