Paid for by the state Democratic party. I was pretty surprised. Our local Dothan stations have been airing a few Kerry ads, probably because they have a lot of Florida panhandle viewers. But the Montgomery broadcast probably barely makes it to Florida, if at all. The only other reason I can think of that the state party would air such an ad in Montgomery would be to mobilize more anti-* voters to hopefully vote some straight tickets. Very interesting.
