How can we possibly win Florida without civil disobedience!
14,000 people disenfranchised through trivial errors on absentee ballots:

58,000 absentee ballots missing in Fort Lauderdale

Doesn't it seem like there should be a march, a protest, some sort of activism. It seems awfully unlikely we can win in Florida if this is the scope of corruption. And this is only the corruption we know about!

1. serious question
If Kerry wins Florida, and I think he will myself, Then what? If he takes Florida and we see voter fraud, which could lead to * winning a second term, should we push the issue :)

2. If there really is fraud, we have to push the issue
The attempts at stealing the election are in some ways as grave a danger as terrorism. Maybe President Kerry will be able to use the Patriot Act to arrest Jeb, Theresa LaPore, Katherine Harris, and so on! Send them to Guantanamo and keep them there until they talk. But, seriously something really will have to be done.

3. Agree with pushing the issue
our elections seem crazy thesedays. I want Kerry to win, but not enough to cheat or turn a blind eye to those who cheat for the same goal.

Perhaps we will have a 4 party system someday, might calm things down a tad :)

6. So, just kiss goodbye to 72,000 potential votes?
And you think the court will add those votes to Kerry's count after the election? Be real. I'm not sure what should be done, but it seems to me this is an awfully serious issue.

talk of civil disobedience on a web site that is open to one and all is like sticking a bullseye on your back at a shooting range, especially one like DU that is monitored by god only knows who. and if you don't care about the repercussions of talking in public about performing acts civil disobedience you should.

and if you don't, i can only ponder in amazement at one having ancestors able to survive to reach breeding age.

5. let the lawyers handle it first. If that doesn't work, and the
election is stolen, then we have to go to the streets.
