Could this be the "October surprise?" Tenet's revenge? 9/11 Report

After reading this I began to wonder if this report might be "leaked" to the press--just has Valerie Plame's name was leaked--say, around Thursday or Friday morning? The fact that the report is being kept from the public is criminal in my mind. But what if a copy of the report showed up on Novak's desk--ok, I know he would burn it. But what if it appeared on Dan Rather's desk, or Joe Conosan's desk, or Lou Dobb's desk? Ok, what if was just posted here at DU? According to the article the report names names and is so hot, you can't pick it up without fireproof gloves.

3. This Story Needs Legs - It's Bigger than 380 tons of Explosives

It's the story that will do Bush in, regardless of how it's handled, PROVIDED IT GETS LEGS IN THE NEWS MEDIA.

If it's reported as "Bush is suppressing a major CIA report until after the election" people's imaginations will run wild and the resentment over the secrecy and suppression will destroy Bush.

Alternately, if the media forces the administration to release the report to be released before the election, it will destroy all of Bush's claims to be "the one to keep America safe" and will therefore destroy Bush.

The only way this story WILL NOT destroy Bush is if it does not get mainstream news coverage. So we all know what to do, right?

This is bigger than Sinclair. Our response should be bigger than Sinclair. Only we have LESS time to get organized and get things moving.
