3. I took a long break from my job and DU to watch that |
|
Excellent. And remarkably damning. The administration actually wanted to invade Iraq first after 9/11, not Arghanistan. Once they detoured to Afghanistan, Rumsfield insisted on trimming the number of forces and resources to bare bone. Literally looking at a list and x-ing things out, "You don't need this. You don't need that."

4. Said new on Dish satellite. I taped it and will watch soon. |
|
I have taped so many programs on PBS, LINK and Free Speech TV. I'm going to have to list them and see if anyone wants to borrow them.

5. I watched part of it last night... |
|
.... will catch the rest tonight.
It really sounds like Rummy has tried to apply the "third wave" business principles (note that Newtie was involved) to the military with disastrous results.
I hope Rummy enjoys his place in history as the most abject failure of military leadership since the Vietnam war.

7. One thing I recall was Rumsfeld etal were involved with the Viet Nam war |
|
strategy too....they called the shots from the planning room in DC instead of letting the ground commanders take actions they deemed necesssary.
Wow....talk about insanity...they are doing the same thing again in Iraq expecting a different outcome.
