Kerry yardsigns in Madison are just gone :(
The east side of Madison was covered in Kerry yardsigns. Like 30-40 of them in a row- looked amazing!! Every time I took the bus in to work they would make me smile.

Well, yesterday I wasn't smiling because the same bus route had NO SIGNS. Even my neighbor's "Hope is one the way" huge sign is gone. I know repugs will do anything but it just makes me sad that someone would do that. There are a handful of Bush/Cheney stickers on SUVs more outside of Madison and I have only seen 1 or 2 Bush yardsigns. Our "Women for Kerry" sign is taped to our window so it is safe.

My parents live in Bath Maine and my mother told me that the town is spilt evening with Bush and Kerry yardsigns, and that the Bush signs are the ones getting stolen.

1. Is Bush coming to your area?
I heard that they strip Kerry signs so he doesnt have to see them along the road. :)

5. If * was smart he wouldn't come anywhere near the mad city
Kerry is coming tomorrow. If Bush came we would run him out of town. he goes everywhere else in Wisconsin instead.

2. don't peel of the stickers on the cars
smash them off with a crowbar.

These are "subtle" intimidation tactics that the neo-brownshirts are using to intimidate Dems. We cannot stand for it.

"Post Script: In the interest of fairness I went looking to put together a similar list of shameful incidents involving Republicans. But aside from the currently disputed and unproven allegations of some Democratic registrations being ripped up and thrown in the trash out in Nevada, I couldn't find anything comparable. In fact, using the exact same search criteria that turned up pages of stories involving the vandalism of Bush offices, etc. around the country yielded surprisingly few results when applied to John Kerry. If you know of any incidents of Republicans targeting Kerry offices or supporters with vandalism or thuggish behavior, please send them through so I can post them. - T. Bevan 8:15 am"

4. I've noticed some missing * signs out in Lodi.
One was at a contractor's house. His Gene Hahn sign is still up. I think he took down his *.

My neighbor's Kerry Edwards sign has taken a beating, but it's still up. Tough as nails, baby!
