There's one in front of my neighbor's house. I thought it was a joke at first. Black background, white "W the President" and a picture of Bush's face in white against the black background.

Unattractive. Sort of scary. Good for Halloween, should keep the kids away.

The scary thing is that people will notice these signs now.
By this point in an election, most people are so used to seeing the regular signs, that they dont even realize they just passed them.

Change the color, make them stand out etc... and you have people seeing YOUR signs once again.

2. A Yard Sign Will Change Votes Now???

If someone is that confused and/or stupid that the color of someone's sign is what determines their vote, while I'd love every vote in our column, that's one I would gladly live without. Hopefully they'll do us a real favor and stay home.

I'm getting a kick out of the yard sign war in my area...the local Repugnicans were shocked by the large number of K/E, Obama & Melissa Bean signs that popped up (all on individual's property...no need to beg people to put signs up, they were very proud to do so).

Since then the local thugs have just loaded up their lawns with bigger, more garrish signs (thanks to our village for scooping up their signs that show up on public property as soon as they show up) that are showing us around here desperation, not confidence.

Personally, I don't have a yard sign, since my home is far from the beaten paths but I have K/E stickers on our cars (FAR more visible and I get lots of waves and friendly honks these days).

What is it with their huge signs? All up and down interstate 80 every farmer has this huge W sign... makes me ILL! Even in town there are some hanging off peoples decks and such.

Personally...I think anything with that ....name on it is scary, heck I won't even eat the baked beans anymore...

Got some big ugly signs in my neighborhood as well. Oddly enough though, they are NOT Chimp/Dickhead signs. Just the idiot running for senate, the dumbass running for governor and the nerd running for attorney general. They had a small Bush sign up, but it uhhhmmmm.... mysteriously disappeared.

signs in my neighborhood... well...and I couldn't let them lie around...so ya know, I picked them up and made sure they were placed in the recycle bin... I seen my recycle man chuckling when he was dumping my bin. ....ahhh... might we have another Kerry supporter??? :)
