2. Just goes to show you which way the media slants, |
|
they'll probably counter Limbaugh with some timid faux liberal. Welcome to the fair and balanced world of the corporate media.

3. To be fair, they should also have another shrill partisan |
|
Edited on Wed Oct-27-04 08:19 AM by mtnester
Like Ed Shultz or Randi Rhoades...
Better to have Ed, then there would be confusion as to who was talking as they sound (voice wise) VERY similar.
That would also be fun to watch!

But since I know Kerry is gonna win, now I want to tune in to NBC to see Flush Limball's reaction when Kerry is declared the winner. Ha!

What the hell is he going to do - spin Ohio into a red state? F' him - it will be hilarious (or would be if I would ever watch that bed pan of a station).

WON'T be watching. With such a divided country you would think they'd know better than have one of the most divisive people on. You would think... Maybe they will have Tucker Carlson to give the "left" point of view! :puke:

Dear Nightly News,
I do hope the Nightly News is planning on giving either Randi Rhodes or Ed Schultz or Al Franken or Janeane Garafalo or any one of the outstanding radio talk show hosts on the left a seat at the table with Mr. Limbaugh.
To do anything less, and I will never, never watch your NETWORK again, and I will boycott every ones of your advertisers and I will urge all of my friends and colleagues to do the same.
We liberals aren't sitting still for this nonsense any more. Having Tim Russert whore himself for Bush these past four years was bad enough.
Regards,

12. That is so disgusting. Will they have a left-wing drug-addict on to |
|
counter Limbaugh? I'm thinking no.
The only thing good that might come out of this is that Limbaugh could reveal what a pig he is, and how out of touch he is with how angry Americans are at Bush.
Thanks for the link.

... if you demand that, they'll dig up Kurt Cobain and prop up his corpse between Limbaugh and Brokaw.
"Uh, Kurt, what do think about the race in Nevada."
Silence.
Limbaugh: "Just as I thought. The left has nothing worthwhile to say."

Limpball's on any network election night is enough reason to boycott. There would be no other point of him being except for partisan rhetoric.

22. Where does it say that NBC is having him on? |
|
I read Brock's letter as a pre-emptive strike based on the fact that they had him on in 2002. Am I missing something? If I'm going to write an email or make a call, I want to at least sound like I know what I'm talking about.
I thought NBC announced their election night line-up. Anybody got a link to it?

23. We Want Rush, We Want Rush... |
|
I'd love to see this tub of Hillbilly Heroin come out of his bomb shelter. We rarely see the dear boy since ESPN canned his ass...and better to see him than have him hide in his drug haven in Palm Beach.
If things play as many of us hope and/or expect, this is gonna be a night of major Democratic payback for 4 years of Bunnypants and may turn out to be a complete repudiation of the "Gingrich" revolution and all that Rushbo's built his fame on. We can see it all collapse in front of him and he's not gonna take it well.
I remember in '92 how Rushbo reacted after Poppy lost. It was a pure pleasure to listen to his excuses and then started to pull out the knives on "fellow" Repugnicans. He pissed off a lot of people in his own tent that week, so much that his TV show was delayed for 2 years and his radio show almost went down the tubes. Maybe a bigger meltdown than '92 will create a bigger landslide.
We should enjoy the last days of Rushbo while we can. There's an indictment with his name on the way in Florida and this asshole will soon be facing that same justice system he has so long taunted and insulted. The Palm Beach DA's chomping to take this guy down and rumor has it they're taking their time to get the iron-clad goods on him...Roy Black or no Roy Black.

Dear Sirs,
I have just heard about your decision to have Rush Limbaugh provide political analysis on your election night broadcast. I feel that this does not go far enough, in terms of diversity. Why not put together an entire panel discussion group of drug-addled celebrities? Rush, Courtney Love, Ozzy Osbourne, and Whitney Houston can sit around the night of the election and gibber and throw pills at one another. Or why not just pull some ranting crack addicts off the streets of New York and have them provide commentary? Their comments would be about as relevant as those of Mr. Limbaugh.
Cordially yours,
slappy

27. done! Don't watch NBC ever |
|
Owned by GE which was run by CEO Jack Welch, a Bush Pioneer, the network crossed way over the line during the 2000 election cycle. GE's new slogan should be we bring good WAR MACHINES to life.
Boycott NBC's bullshit, and let those who pull the network strings know why repeatedly. Insipid Katie, Nazi Matt, Russert ... the whole lot of them are whores. Several years ago, Walt Isaacson at CNN courted Limpballs but the deal never took place. That's when I knew CNN had gone to the dogs (no offense to my beloved canine friends). Now it's NBC (the Nothing But Crap network). Once we get our government back, we must reclaim our airwaves.
In the meantime, if you must tune in the TV news -- such as it is -- go to CBS with Dan Rather.
