No bush* signs in my neighborhood at all |
|
Understand that we live in an area where many people died in the WTC on 9/11. When the Afghan War started, there we "Support our Troops and our Preisdent" signs all over the place, in dozens of yards. They wrote LTTE that read like love letters to Bush. But those days are long gone.
Now, except for my yard with a Kerry/Edwards sign in the front, the area is devoid of political signs. There are none. While it's sad that they do not openly support Kerry, it's very significant that they are not supporting *. He is total toast if even his usual kool-aid drinkers are not supporting him.

1. I'm seeing the same thing. |

I live in the orbit of Manhattan, too, and in 2000 saw plenty of Bush signs. Now there are very, very few, along with the occasional Kerry sign -- really very few signs for anyone. I take it as movement in the right direction.
