I think there should be an ammendment added that bars the media from making campaign donations and requires them to be balanced in their news. Its time to take back our media folks!

2. good idea, but it'd be like trying to pass a balanced budget amendment
everyone likes the idea, but when it comes down to it, the power brokers in both parties wouldn't want to do it.

3. I'd like to get marketing out of the media, the news anyway.
It drives me nuts when they have these bogus "consumer segments" that are little more than a friggin infomercial for the parent company's books, toasters, rocket launchers, gas masks. It's whoredom on all levels.

Just the facts, people...please?

5. If you keep the media
away from the elections.....here's what we will have....

"Who you voting for?"
"I dont know. WHO is running?"
"I don't know. The newspaper doesn't say."
"Maybe on the radio? They might know."
"No, they reads the newspapers."
"I thinks its those names on those front lawn signs."
"Yeah, you might be right."
"So, who will you vote for?"
"For Sale."
"Yeah, me too. I was going to vote for Beware the Dog, but those neocons scare me."
