early Monday morning. It will consist of a major distortion of Kerry or Edward's life which will be demonstably untrue, but will take more than two days to unravel &c.

I hope the Kerry campaign is considering this as a real possiblity and mobilizing what they can to defend against it or to pre-empt it.

3. I don't think that another...

...accusation a la "Kerry had a sex change", "Kerry fucks chickens" or "Kerry was Che Guevara's gay lover" can really have an impact anymore -- especially not this close to an election. If he has a surprise, I'm sure he knows it would have to be something substanceful -- and that's why I doubt that he has one. I think we're going to see more CIA/Pentagon/State Dept. Bush-damaging leaks, but I doubt Rove has anything.

It has been circulating around the right winged blogs for about a week. I haven't actually read it but they claim Kerry was taking orders from the enemy in Vietnam. The campaign should be prepared for something along that vein IMO so it can quickly be put to rest!

Does this rumor have any more credibility than the one that said something supposedly devastating about Kerry was going to come out Monday? Even if it's true, there's no reason to think Kerry's people won't be ready for it. James Carville's e-mail talked about how desperate the Rovies will become.

it will happen Thursday. If it comes out on Friday, it will be forgotten over the weekend. That's why *'s "newly discovered" TANG records are always released on a Friday.

EDIT: However, I don't believe there is a surprise. I think Karly is out of his league in this election. I think he'll just ride out the week and start filing lawsuits like crazy on Wednesday..

If Rove's confidential polls show Bushy-boy too far behind, Rove/Cheney will stage a "terrist" attack on Washington DC. The elections will be postponed until "order is restored."

is have a press conference where he says over and over again, "I find it funny/odd/sad that this is coming out now, a few days before the election." That's basically what Bush did when it was revealed that he hit the sauce behind the wheel. He accused Gore of bringing it up like 7 times in a two minute period.

Of course, if it's false, deny the hell out of it.

Personally, I too think that the administration is in disarray and is flailing, but just in case . . .
