Post-Graduates Lean Towards Kerry |
|
Found this interesting this morning...They were listing the breakdown of who votes for who.
Bush had some of the following: South, Rural, Men, etc. Kerry had some of these: People under 20K/year, Minorities, Urban, Post-Graduates

that stuff is fascinating. That is why I was so aggravated that two of my son's teachers- women with Master's degrees - were planning to vote for *.

2. Any teacher who votes for Bush |
|
Should have his or her degrees rescinded. But seriously, any teacher who votes for Bush doesn't like--tenure (fired only for reasons set out in state law, for example, incompetence, violation of state code of ethics, RIF, etc.), health insurance, dental insurance, prospect of getting a pension, long-term disability insurance, no free speech rights, no free exercise of religion rights, no right to freedom from unreasonable searches (because private schools (read vouchers, boys and girls, as private employers are not bound by the Constitution).

school, where most of the parents are very liberal Dems. FIgure that one out. I was going to tease the headmaster that he needed to find some more liberal teachers when he hires! :)

4. In general, people on the fringes vote Democrat |
|
That is what I love most about the party, I think. We reviewed demographics in my American Presidency class, and found that Democrats carry high school dropouts and post-grads, voters under thirty and voters over sixty, people making under 20k/year and over 10m/year, and other interesting dichotomies.
