Paul Krugman Re: Cheney: "He cheneys-up everything he touches."

Paul Krugman rips on Cheney and the aura of gravitas he projects, on today's Franken show on AAR...

"The fact is he's got the worst judgement in the world. He cheneys-up everything he touches. Because he's got the sneer, people think he's a serious guy."

edit: I'm hoping that "cheney" and "santorum" are only the first long-term contributions by the B* Administration to our lexicon.

5. We saw a bumper sticker the other day, "F**k Bush"

My younger son couldn't see it from his side of the car, so he asked his 12-yr-old brother what it said. The reply was, "Remember 'Go Cheney yourself?' Well, this says 'Cheney Bush'." Then they both laughed and laughed. I nearly drove off the road trying to not laugh. ;)

I think 'Cheney' is definitely here to stay -- but only as a new verb.

6. Cheney's rebuttal about the missing explosives is

that the timing of when the explosives went missing is unclear. That is a true statement. But, it validates Kerry's assertion that the administration was careless in its handling of the material. The U.N. inspectors confirmed the presence shortly before Bush expelled them from Iraq. It has been confirmed that a company of American troops was at the location for hours and that no one even bothered to check on the whereabouts of the explosives.

Cheney's remark is actually a concrete admission that the administration didn't know what was going on. Thank you Dick.
