12. No joke.
He was dead serious. He said something along the lines of "he was terrified of what would happen to our country with Kerry as president." I love the desperation.

26. I love the desperation, but I hate that they believe they have anything
at stake here. The only reason they are supposedly 'fired up' is because WE are fired up. The only Pugs I have spoken to (argued with) about this issue have no clear answer for their motivation.

Fear or Kerry's inadequacies (which are untested) are all I hear, and those are not legitimate reasons to allow the continued destruction of over 200 years of democracy.

What state do you live in.

Take the dough and say you won't vote on the 2nd. Forget to tell him you went early or voted via absentee.

14. get a tape of him doing this...get specifics: how much is the offer,
how can you get him to believe you voted for Bush

then, after election day, play the tape (if it's legal in your jurisdiction to do so), cite the law to him, and tell him you're seriously thiking about turning him in: rule of law/Clinton impeachment, right?

make him sweat

23. Bid him up
I'll go $5.00 over whatever he's offering to keep you voting FOR Kerry. Of course, it's not a bribe to you, I'd donate it to the charity of your choice.

Tell him that it's over to him at +$5.00.

24. Anyone who would offer to PAY someone for a vote...
is a dumbass on several accounts. One, it's illegal, and two, not only are they parting with their money, but they have no idea whether or not they're getting what they pay for.

I'm tempted to say take the money and vote for Kerry anyway, but I wouldn't want to advise you to do anything illegal. :)

34. I would ask him how much he would take to sell his vote.
Then if he acts offended, tell him that now he knows just how you feel about it. On the other hand, if he says he would sell his vote for some reasonable amount, have him get an absentee ballot, show it to you before he mails it, and then watch him put it in the mail box. Then you can tell him that he is nothing but a traitor to what he claims to believe in.
