Do not underestimate the power of the Eminem video
It will help us a great deal. There are people that are practically slaves to him, and they may now vote (lots of people.)

1. "Slaves" was a particularly ill-chosen word.
Kinda like Bush using "crusade."

Will especially help in MN, WI with same day registration! These states,
along with New Hampshire, Maine, Idaho and Wyoming allow same day registration on election day. Wouldn't it be great it all the state made voting easier rather than harder?

Some close their registration rolls 30 days before the election--like Florida! We can do better than this!

3. I applied to be his towel boy
But got cut from the Mathers Slave Squad because I used that one fabric softener with the bear on it, and Eminem is deathly afraid of talking teddy bears.

4. As a very wise 19 year old said after watching the video -
this is huge. Do you realize how many people in my age group are influenced by him?

5. Isn't it great that Eminem (apparrently) can read? Not only that,
but he can read the writing on the wall, and furthermore, he can read the lies and misinformation behind the * admin rhetoric.

The heroine who offered hope for Iraq
Margaret? Margaret Hassan kidnapped? She who said to me that soon, very soon, "there will be more than one lost generation" in Iraq?

7. My wife has always thought he was OK.....
I argued he was a phoney...but went by instinct more than fact.

This in my opinion puts him in a whole new category of awareness.
I take back everything I ever said about him.

I was truly moved by the clip....actually got pins and needles.

10. Haven't seen it and won't
I can't stand eminem and much to the dismay of my kids, he's been banned from this house. I'm pretty liberal on what my kids hear and watch, but I drew the line at him.

Other's will disagree and if that's what works for them to each his/her own.

11. I've always liked eminem
for his jackass factor. and he's always struck me as pretty bright too.

that being said, i felt the video was very powerful and angry, and makes me want to go buy a black hoodie to wear to the polls, but the song itself, mmm..not his best.
