Does it even matter if the explosives were there...... |
|
Edited on Wed Oct-27-04 01:26 PM by dennis4868
when we first went into Iraq?
The fact of the matter is that the explosives were under control by the IAEA right before the invasion and because Bush kicked the inspectors out to illegally start a war with Iraq they are now missing....this is what the rush to war had led to!
It is pretty obvious that the explosives were at Al QaQaa when we first arrived there APRIL 3-4 (not April 10 like the media wants you to believe). But the fact of the matter is, this does not matter. The explsives are now missing because we rushed to war when at the same time the explosives were under the control of the UN with seals intact. I only wish the media would say this as well as the Kerry campaign (Kerry may have said this I just never heard Kerry or one of his surrogates state this on TV).
LET FREEDOM REIGN ON NOVEMBER 2, 2004!!!!

2. Thank you. Their "defense" is "they were gone before we got there" |
|
which means that they should have let the inspectors continue and keep that shit secured right where it was.
If Kerry were President; saddam would still be a toothless tinhorn dictator with inspectors gathering up this shit, 1100++ soldiers would be alive, and the hunt for UBL would probably have been over months ago.
And over this past summer, saddam could have been dealt with without incident.

Yesterday Barbara Starr was saying that even if they were already gone, the coalition has a lot to answer for.. That some officials in the Pentagon were privately saying "How the hell could they move close to 400 tons in that amount of time without us knowing?"
But alas... it's how the media and the Bushies will try to ((spin)) it I spoze.

4. Even if explosives were gone, it doesn't matter. |

Look at how THAT fact wouldn't exonerate the administration:
1.) The Army didn't know they were gone. 2.) No one sought to find out and guard the site if not. 3.) The reason no one did so was because of poor planning an insufficient troop strength.
We needn't back off our arguments one bit!

5. I think the thing we should focus on is they don't know. |
|
Why don't they know? They were informed ahead of time about this site and yet they have no idea. They are saying they are not incompetent but just ignorant. Why did we not hear of this until now? It is because they just flat out don't know what is happening. They have no idea of when the materials became missing. Why not?

to protect the oil fields before the invasion, why didn't they do the same for the two main weapons sites, al QaQaa and Tuwaitha?
