yesbushcan.com: is this for real?
http://www.yesbushcan.com/

Yes, Bush Can, an independent group dedicated to communicating Bush policies directly to the public, has abandoned its campaign and is officially endorsing John Kerry for President.

Before changing sides, the Yes, Bush Can team drove around the country supporting the President in a campaign bus they had equipped with sound and light systems, confetti cannons, and various props and costumes. They gave dozens of stump speeches, distributed campaign videos and "USA Patriot Pledges," and performed patriotic songs to audiences across the country. (See http://www.yesbushcan.com/media.shtml and http://www.yesbushcan.com/pledge.shtml.)

Last week, the group officially split with Bush. "In the course of our travels, we ended up learning more about Bush's policies than he wanted us to know," said Harmon Spellmeyer, one of the Yes, Bush Can team. "We came to see that this administration is a catastrophe for most people."

If this is real, it's amazing. If it's parody, it's genius.

2. That can't be real. If it is, Kerry has won the election.
If it's parody, it's fucking brilliant.

6. Parody, but Damn Good Parody
I think this is the same group that formed the Billionaires for Bush Campaign earlier this year. They also had some hilarious bits. :D

7. No, it's not them. It's someone else.
I just don't remember who. Sorry.

Billionaires For Bush is brilliant, though.

8. Ah!
BfB does some great stuff -- this is way more subtle, though. I appreciate it all the more because I had to ask if it was real. That's how parody SHOULD be done, dammit!

Welcome to DU, simskl.

10. They Are A "Real" Parody
They came down to the Univ of Va last week to meet with
activist students. They drove their bus around town for a few hours
with loudspeakers blaring. The bus was "armed" with a fake missile on top
with the words "The End Is Near" written on it. One guy dressed in Arab garb would pop out of the top of the bus from time to time and stage fake fights with an actor dressed as cowboy bush*.
The local cops were not amused and every time they tried to stop and pass out info, they were told to move along.

Kerry in a LANDSLIDE!
