Poll question: Which of the Following 6 Days Will the White House Issue a "Red Alert"?
Edited on Wed Oct-27-04 02:33 PM by David Zephyr
Which of the Following Six Days Will the White House Issue a "Red Alert"?

As desperation turns to panic in the White House, will the Bush White House once again turn to the old "terror alert" / "dirty bomber" fear-mongering and issue an Orange or Red Alert just before the election with some "new found evidence"?

Which day will they issue the terror alert warning?

Or am I just so jaded that I am beyond help?

What do you think?

1. I have been thinking for while now that they will issue a terror alert
just before the election, and tell people terrorists are waiting for them at the polling sites. Of course, terrorists are also psychic and would know if you want to vote democratic, so Bush voters would be safe.

2. I've been expecting a red alert on the west coast
at around 4-5pm, as polls are closing in the east

7. Hadn't Considered That. Sadly, It Sounds Plausible.
That would really take the cake.

9. nothing keeps people away from the polls...
better than road-blocks, check-points, and fears for the safety of their children

I'm voting at 7:30am in California, those bastards won't stop ME

3. I think the October surprise will be the attack on Fallujah this weekend.
Gearing up now for it. "Oh boy!, shrub just killed a bunch of people, let's vote for him."

4. They'll justify it with the new video tape
even though it's more laughable than the wolves commercial.

Followed by a sobering speech by * saying that we must send a resounding message to defeat the terra-ists by voting for him or we'll all die.

10. While nothing they'd do would surprise me at this point
honestly, I don't think a Terra Lert can save them. And I think they know it. So no, I don't believe Team Bush will be having us see red this week.

JMHO.

11. I think they're going to do a "Terrorist Attack Thwarting" (TAT)
And say the terrorists were trying to use the cover of Halloween in order to do their terrorist work. But naturally the attack will be thwarted, and they'll all show up in their superman outfits to tell the people how shrub is keeping us all safe. But it will be in time to make people think it's not safe to go to the polls, for fear of another attack on election day.

And I agree with one of the posters above...they'll surely try to scare the snot out of Californians, Ohioans, and Pennsylvanians.

We'll see what they come up with, but you KNOW they're going to try to pull something off.

12. I put in for the week off
Way to excited to work, way too exhausted to stand up. I think I will sleep for a couple of days after Kerry is elected.
