If Electoral College Fails, House Decides

If Electoral College Fails, Dumbya remains in office!

One near-certainty in this election of many uncertainties is that if the Electoral College can't pick a winner, George W. Bush will stay in the White House. That's because the House of Representatives is and will probably remain in Republican hands.

1. That's the unfortnate reality
Hopefully we'll win by enough that it won't be an issue.

2. Let's say a miracle happens and the House goes to the
Democrats. The newly elected wouldn't go into power until January right? (I'm not sure on this). Would it be the house now that decides?
I've thought about this scenario too - All the Repubs need to do is make things so chatioc and undecided (court battles, lawyers, on and on)that it goes to the house.

4. Once again, it doesn't matter
Amendment 12 states that the House votes via single state-by-state delegates. Each state has one vote regardless of population or actual number of representatives.

Just look at the map and count how many Bush/Republican states. We would have absolutely no chance.

3. As we found in 2000 it goes to the supreme court,
never mind the constitution. The congress is just a photo op.
