I was going to do an early vote t oday in Ga.

I figured if I went around 10:30 AM it would be pretty simple. Well, there were about 400 people standing in line! I decided I'd try again on Fri AM. Just don't have the patience to wait that long in line. IF it doesn't work out better on Fri, I'll just wait until Tues and vote locally. Hopefully, because this is new in Ga., lots of people are trying this early voting thing. No matter what, I'll wait for as long as I have to on Tues!

I wouldn't chance it. I'd go Friday. So early voting is new to GA, huh?

3. Yes, this is the first year they've permitted "Advance voting" in Ga.

They've had absentee voting for a long time, but it was supposed to be only for disabled people or those who were going to be out of town on election day. Seems lots of people were lying just to get an absentee form, so they established what they call Advance Voting at a place in your county.

Sure looks like a big success! Paper said there were 4 hour lines on Mon & Tues too.
