Awesome bumper sticker story from the Republican hinterland

Just came from getting my oil changed. While sitting in line waiting for my turn, I noticed the person in the car behind me was staring at me, and then she got out of her car and started walking toward mine with what appeareed to be a bumper sticker. This is W country, so I was all prepared for a confrontation, when lo and behold she says, "Hey, your Kerry sticker is looking a bit old, would you like a new one?" She gave me two new Kerry/Edwards stickers for mine and husband's cars.

What makes this story even better is right after leaving the oil change place, I ran into my state representative (i.e. republican asshole) at the chicken wing place. You should have seen him trying to hide from me. ROFL! He and I go way back (hate/hate relationship), and he sent me a rather snarky email (in reply to a letter I had written) a month ago. Boy did he get an ear full!
