Tweety giving Pubbie hard time on CacaGate
Edited on Wed Oct-27-04 06:10 PM by BeyondGeography
To BC spokesman Falkenrath: "Are we going to have an answer before the election? It sounds like you're playing for time."

Then he throws Colonel Anderson's "searching was not our mission" quote Falkenrath's way.

Also, "Why did Karl Rove and the President wait 3 days to respond to this?"

And, "Over half of the people who intend to vote for the President believe there was WMD in Iraq and over 60% believes that is what the Administration is telling them. What does that say about your campaign?"

5. Bush has lost Tweety, for this news cycle anyway.
The Keystone Cops routine at the WH--the inability of anyone in charge to provide answers--is driving this scandal.

By emphasizing the "nobody knows" angle--Bush just makes himself look like a bigger fucking idiot.

6. why doesn't somebody get upset about the coverup?
I mean, if they had known about the explosives, they could have been more prepared for IEDs and so on, at least--and there's also the HONESTY issue--Even Condi has known for a month, and went right out on the campaign trail (illegal)to avoid dealing with it, and didn't say a word.

7. Chris actually never supported the war.
It was a true test for him to see if he is being honest or sold out.

10. Oh, oh...Tweety just nailed smiling Don Evans.
Iraqi oil was promised to pay for the liberation. Evans, the oil man, is hyperventilating and trying to change the subject. "We're safer now...blah, blah, blah"

16. Evans must have answered five questions with "Safer America."
I think he thinks we're safer. Or....something. They only gave Don one index card with one talking point for this interview, obviously, regardless of the question.

11. you mean people still watch him?
Huh. Didnt know that.

I happen to hate that son-of-a-bitch. Last time i watched was the first debates, when afterwards Tweety really wanted to say "Holy FUck Chimp is retarded and just got pwned" and instead spent the evening telling Scarborough to "go ahead" and Ron Reagan "we arent declaring winners".

A pox on his house, and all the media whores. They are worse than the chimp because they know better.

15. Tweety has had another one of his mood swings
or personality changes or whatever you want to call it. He's a Democrat again. :toast: Of course, I bet Rove has him on Speed Dial and will threaten to withhold his payments if Chris doesn't cease and desist immediately.

Fell right back on the same talking points over and over. What really amazes me is the people in the U.S. who can not see through this BS.

19. Matthews is absolutely hammering Don Evans
Edited on Wed Oct-27-04 06:22 PM by secular_warrior
"Why do we have to pay the cost of the Iraqi's liberation? Weren't we told that the Iraqi oil would pay for this ?"

Evans looks like he wants to cry, and all the GOP supporters behind him are silent.

I guess the GOP's efforts to scare Matthews (boycotts, RNC web video) haven't worked.

As big of a whore Matthews is, he asks the tough questions other interviewers don't.

32. Like tonight - he surprised Evans and kept him off balance.
Like with Zell Miller, Michelle Malkin, John Oneil...

Most interviewers stick to a script, and usually ask the same old boring questions the same old boring way.

Matthews always manages to throw a curve and keep his guests off balance. Then he hammers them until they answer it. He's not afraid to piss them off.

He's a whore but he has a talent, which has been widely imitated. Matthews is an entertainer, and an original.
