Dear STUPID MEDIA; 101st WAS NOT the first unit at Al QaQaa! NOT! NOT!!!
ARRRRRRRRRRRRGH!!!

Will the media EVER get this fact straight EVER?????!!!

The FIRST UNIT at Al QaQaa was the 3rd Infantry Division engineer brigade under the command of Col. John Peabody.

They reached Al QaQaa on April 3, 2003.

And THEY FOUND EXPLOSIVES.

WELL-REPORTED on by the world media, EVEN FAUX MOOS, on April 5, 2003.

The 101st AirBorne didn't reach Al QaQaa until ONE WEEK LATER, April 10, 2003. They WERE NOT THE FIRST UNIT TO AL QAQAA!!!

20. Oh, shit! I remember this!
Remember, the media war-mongers made a HUGE deal about the 3rd ID finding the possible WMDs and nerve gases and piles of weapons and on and on and on.
Then, two days later, turns out it was nothing.

Shit... I remember this!!

Off to write my friends in the media.

things for three hours without it sounding boringly repetitive (imo). And get it on Washington Journal.

U.S. TROOPS DISCOVER “SUSPICIOUS” POWDER, NERVE AGENT ANTIDOTE

U.S. troops uncovered two sites near Baghdad containing unidentified liquid and white powder, an officer told reporters Friday, however, an official in Washington said initial testing suggested explosive materials rather than chemical weapons.

At the first site, troops reportedly found thousands of boxes of full vials, along with manuals on chemical warfare. They also found atropine, used to counter the effects of nerve agents.

According to Col. John Peabody, engineer brigade commander of the 3rd Infantry Division, the materials were discovered at the Latifiya Explosives and Ammunition Plant al Qa Qaa, about 25 miles south of Baghdad.

The plant was on the International Atomic Energy Agency’s list of suspected sites for WMD production, and U.N. inspectors had visited the facility as recently as February 18. U.S. jets bombed the plant during the 1991 Gulf War.

In Washington, a senior U.S. official speaking on condition of anonymity told the Associated Press that the material tested thus far suggested explosives rather than weapons of mass destruction.

"Initial reports are that the material is probably just explosives, but we're still going through the place,'' the official said.

"In that particular site, we believe that was the only sample," he said. "That's why we believe it was a training site. Our conclusion is that this was not a WMD site...it proved to be far less than that."

22. Have you phoned the Kerry campaign about this?
Tell them to get their pundits to bring up these news reports on the panel discussions!!! It's alot easier that way than sending e-mails to media organizations that get thousands of e-mails per day!! Not to say that e-mailing does nothing...It would just be better if the Kerry campaign was telling Lockhart to bring this up. Don't assume they know about this angle!

Maybe they are waiting for Bush to make an even bigger fool out of himself for denying this...and then hitting him with the hammer!
