Dad voted for KERRY today! He lives in Hendersonville, NC (which is 90% Repuke). He voted DEM for the FIRST TIME IN HIS LIFE!!!

Dadcom waited OVER AN HOUR AND A HALF IN LINE to do so. I asked who people were voting for around him. He said he only talked to one other couple standing behind him but they were for KERRY! Said they were DISGUSTED WITH BUSH*!!!

Dadcom actually saw William Pitt speak in Asheville a couple of years ago. Walked up, shook Will's hand and introduced himself to Will as MY FATHER!

Dadcom, is my father. a life-long repuke, retired C.I.A. counter-terrorism officer who voted for Bush* the first time. I have turned Dad through EMAILS of REAL events (everything from PNAC to Budgets, Iraq and The Patriot Act.) Dad has NEVER voted DEM but did so this year thanks to ENGAGEMENT and FACTS. My formerly NRA/Repub husband voted a straight Dem ticket!!! He even checked out the judges that were being pushed by the repukes, and voted against them!!!

When I went to vote on Tuesday, the lines were long -- even here in my little county, out in the sticks! Everyone I know who has already voted here said their lines were long, too.
