Wesley Clark - General Smackdown (poor unfit aWol, poor KKKarl, poor R's)
I don't have a link. Did not see this posted, but if dupe - sorry. Atrios has it up.

-----------

Statement from Wesley Clark

Today George W. Bush made a very compelling and thoughtful argument for why he should not be reelected. In his own words, he told the American people that " . . . a political candidate who jumps to conclusions without knowing the facts is not a person you want as your Commander in Chief."

President Bush couldn't be more right. He jumped to conclusions about any connection between Saddam Hussein and 911. He jumped to conclusions about weapons of mass destruction. He jumped to conclusions about the mission being accomplished. He jumped to conclusions about how we had enough troops on the ground to win the peace. And because he jumped to conclusions, terrorists and insurgents in Iraq may very well have their hands on powerful explosives to attack our troops, we are stuck in Iraq without a plan to win the peace, and Americans are less safe both at home and abroad.

By doing all these things, he broke faith with our men and women in uniform. He has let them down. George W. Bush is unfit to be our Commander in Chief

Is he fast or what?! :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

6. Brilliant Man, Clark..This subject needs to grow long legs and stay on t..
on top, it needs to be mentioned by everyone given a voice. It needs to drown out any Bushites crying, "we don't know what happened to the explosives!!!"

An International DEMAND needs to be continously repeated until Bush answers or dissolves in a puddle on the tarmac of AirForce One.

Thanks Wes Clark..see you in the Kerry Cabinet ..soon!!

8. Wes Clark is wonderful!
Whe he criticizes Bush on military matters, it is much more effective & devastating than others making the same case.

No one can challenge his knowledge, experience, or patriotism.

11. Nothing paints red states blue like this does.
People in states with big military bases are so pissed off at * for endangering the troops, I really don't think the neocons will carry very many states at all. DU'ers who live in red states have been reporting a virtual *SEA* of Kerry/Edwards signs, we've just got to keep up this kind of talk to close the deal.

Wesley Clark continues to serve his country honorably and I have no doubt that he always will. People like Wesley Clark, John Kerry and Max Cleland make me proud to have served in the armed forces.
