Image Heavy Post of President-elect Kerry in Rochester MN!!!
Just returned from the Rochester Kerry rally. Very nice! 7,500 in the Mayo Civic Ctr and they turned away a few thousand more. This in a VERY republican part of Minnesota.

Here are some of the photos I took - nothing great (extreme use of the zoom on the Mavicam), but hot off the press!

Look at all those Kerry voters waiting to get in!

If Homeland Security $$$ were used correctly we wouldn't have to borrow Bloomington's bombtruck

Garrison Keillor warmed up the crowd!

Andre Heinz

Chris Heinz

Kerry and his stepsons, some others

Rolling up his sleeves to get to work!

A mod shot (some would call it an error - I call it art) ;)

Pressing Flesh at the end of the Rally

3. I think they ARE great pictures
I'm familiar with southeastern Minnesota; my dad was born and raised in Caledonia and I still have relatives in that area

my uncle Flavian (yes that's right - Flavian - named after a hammer) was Mabel's town drunk for decades. He lived in the Mabel hotel!!!

I'll tell you what was traumatic - a f***ing OUTHOUSE in MINNESTOTA during WINTER. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

14. Kerry and co. better stop drinking GOP Kool-Aid.
Edited on Wed Oct-27-04 10:37 PM by Gaffey Duck
MN is ours!

Spend time in OH, FL, AR, and the Mountain West swing states.

It's too bad President Gore is only staying on for one term though.

16. That is a great turnout
especially considering Rochester is a GOP stronghold in Minnesota.
