After Kerry wins next week we need to turn our attention to the

2006 midterm elections. To really take back our country we have to

regain firm control of the Senate and the House. If Kerry wins in a

landslide and I think that he will, the reason will be the massive

registration drives and GOTV efforts.

I think that we should focus now on recruiting great candidates in key

districts where we have a chance of winning. Then we should develop

teams to organize these districts.

It would also be helpful to have a theme for the midterms. Remember

newt's contract with America? Why not a progressive contract for

America?

I am very proud of Democratic Underground and all that it has

accomplished. I think that together we can change the dynamics of

American politics and reforge a country that can once again be a

shining light of freedom.

God help Kerry if we don't. We will need to start investigating the Republican crimes to keep them on the defensive. If not Kerry can expect to receive the same treatment that they gave the Big Dog.

1) Criminal investigation into dozens of people, you know who I'm talking about.
2) FIX THE DAMN MEDIA. Fairness doctrine anyone?

Of course, GOTV and campaigning for dems is probably more within the reach of the average poster here.

I think that our own liberal cable network would go a long way toward

regaing some balance in the media. I damn well would invest in stock

of a liberal version of fox.

Partnering with Dean's org to push for Congress seats and fighting the Media take over of America are the two greatest priorities , after we flush Bush.
