That is the SEVENTH TIME we have gotten that stupid fucking recording of her awful nails on chalkboard voice imploring me to vote straight repukelican ticket in FIVE DAYS. Seven. In five days.

This latest call came in WHILE I was deleting the OTHERS off the answering machine!

I had a few choice words I said to the machine as I deleted YET another.

Why in the world would they call me? Someone who has NEVER voted for a republican in my freaking LIFE and never will?

Because all seven times we've gotten her recording, it's displayed different numbers. One time it was 214-000-0000, and I don't see how that's possible.

God her voice is ALMOST as bad as her husband's. All cloying and sickening.

I have also gotten THREE from something called Victory in Texas, a repuke voting organization or some shit. They also sent out a mailer on bush vs. Kerry which was so inane I had a good laugh over it before putting it in the recycling bin.

You know, you have a good point. This is a SUPPOSEDLY solid state for bush. Why in the WORLD would they be going to all this trouble?

Any fool can look at my voting history (solidly Dem primary voter) and know who I'm supporting.

I think they're just doing a massive data merge of all registered voters and/or frequent voters and dialing out from that info.

It is obviously not targeted. And WAY last minute.
