The Freepers and other right wing bloggers I've seen are all giddy saying this ends the Kerry campaign because Kerry bashed * over it, but does it really hurt Kerry? It seems the biggest loss here is just the loss of yet another issue, except with * now being all buddy-buddy with Putin, this might even bring up another issue.

1. Not in the least.
Desperate times and all. I've got no worries. For the first time in a long time. :hi:

18. It just means that Bush can't protect us from the Russians either.
No matter how you cut it, the fact the WE DON"T KNOW what happened is the significant part of this story. No matter who took the explosives or when they were taken we are in the dark and Bush admitted this during his stump! We were warned way before we invaded that we should secure these storage places.

2. Man, this is GARBAGE. You're giving this way too much
credit. MORE BS satellite photos showing nothing? A guy at the Pentagon supposedly knows that Russia had SPECIAL FORCES in Iraq before we invaded? Come ON, man.

4. Let's say it's true ...

I don't believe it for one minute, but let's go down that road, shall we?

If Russia took them that means one of three things:

1) Bush didn't know they were missing.

2) Bush knew they were missing but didn't know his "good friend" Putin took them.

3) Bush knew they were missing and that Putin took them and he covered it up.

All three are bad for him.

7. I know ... I'd feel better if we had a REAL news media to investigate it.

However, for the last few days, it seems like every time the Bushies try to spin something in their favor with distortions and/or lies, more infomation is revealed that discredits them all over again. Is anyone else starting to think that there are people on the inside who are on our side?

Well, with the "photos" apparently we did "know"...right?
And if we KNEW, why aren't we kicking the shit out of Russia for this about now?

15. 4. Explosives that were under lock and key are now scattered to
who the fuck knows where.

How the hell is that a defense of Chimp-in-Chief?

Good God, to what depths of desperation have they sunk?

9. They gave the weapons to Syria!!!
Syria is not exactly a member of the Bush coalition...

Unless I misunderstand - this is a HUGE strike at Bush leadership...

Bush was all buddy-buddy...but got fooled!!! Not good...

11. What I find interesting
Is that they're willing to hang Putin out to dry to give themselves cover over this. How do people think Putin's going to react? Jesus, they'd hang Blair if they thought they needed to in order to cover their asses.
