I got a mailing from the RNC today. |
|
It said "In 1993, the WTC was bombed" and then went off on the usual crap about JK voting to cut intel funding. On the back it said "Is John Kerry qualified to lead the troops?" I'm thinking of scrawling "YES, he is! Take me off your mailing list, bastards!" What else could I write and do you think they might brand me as a terrorist if I do?

13. Voter registrations are public records |
|
The campaigns and political parties get the names, addresses, when registered, when voted, race, everything except the SSN is available.

At first I thought it might be for our next door neighbors since we live at *NUMBER undisclosed for fear of a bombing attack* and they live at *NUMBER undisclosed for fear of a bombing attack*-B, but it had my dad's name on it. If they're trying to convince my dad to vote Bush, then good luck. He's, if possible, more anti-Bush than I am.

I have had friends that mailed bricks back to groups like Pat Robertson and the post office takes it.

12. I get those things everyday. |
|
Just Yesterday, I got a similar or maybe the same thing, it had pictures of planes hitting the towers, and had the same crap about JFK. Also, I get ones where they claim JFK wants to leave all the children behind. I think they send those to everyone in swing states. I also wish I could do something about those disgusting letters.

14. I had a pile of that in my mailbox yesterday |
|
All of it addressed to my spouse, who's a union member. This is Michigan, so they're probably worried about our votes, but I don't think Kerry has that much to worry about, thus most of the mailings were from the RNC. None of them had post-paid return envelopes, though, so I've missed out on that fun. Heh.

Did you register for the first time in this precinct? This may be part of the repugs campaign to challenge Democratic voters. If the repugs get the mailer back, they challenge your vote, because you don't live at the address that you registered at.
