Wasn't there a poll that had Kerry up +7 in MN, and they called it a "slight lead"?
Considering Gore lost it by 13 in 2000, I see this as making a decent gain.

Still, even if he wins the state by 9, that's a smaller margin than '00. The state is a longshot.
I hope Bowles can still keep the seat in Dem hands.

Kerry's 7-point lead in MN is "slight," Bush's 7-point lead in NC is "strong."

It will be closer than that. This will be too close to call on election night. Remember this is a Mason Dixon Repuke poll. If he wins NC, it will be by 2-4 points

7. Don't believe it - we're bringing NC into the light! |
|
There's already a huge democratic turnout in early voting. NC is a sleeper swing state. We're turning it blue.

9. NC might be a lot closer than these polls would have you think |
|
the Dem base is ready to vote, the polls oversample Republicans and ignore young voters and cell phone users.
This might be neck and neck. I think 7 points might be the margin of error for Kerry---considering that pollsters undersample his supporters.

10. After all the job losses in NC under Shrub's free trade cronyism |
|
I'd think that the folks in NC would be mad as hell and ready to Fire Shrub in overwhelming numbers come next Tuesday.
