Rightwingntus must be BORN stupid hypocrites.
Atrios:

Kelly Wallace was just on making a snide remarks about how for the "third day in a row" Kerry had promised to talk about economic issues facing the middle class, but he was instead talking about the missing explosives. She also warned that Kerry's criticisms could turn off undecided voters.

Of course, if you listened to the faint audio of Kerry speaking behind her he was clearly talking about economic issues.

And, then, flash to Dana Bash talking about Bush being on the offensive. For some reason, there was no need to warn Bush and Cheney that their negative attacks would turn off undecided voters...

1. I know this has been said before but some people
just shouldn't vote, if you know what I mean!

I used to think everybody should vote and have that freedom but the more I hear people talk, I ask myself "WHY?" I was talking to a fellow RN at work lastnight. She has 2 degrees, one in Respiratory Therapy and then she went back to school and is now a new nurse. She knew I was up on politics and asked me which ones were running for president and which ones were running for vice-president and which party did they each belong to. She thought Kerry was running for vice-president!!!!! <as I put the gun to my head>

2. And are too stupid to live! What kind of mind must they have?
How do they decide what is important, or is everything sort of the same to them?

3. I have no idea.
I tried to look at her with a straight face and truly educate them but in the back of my mind I just couldn't believe it! It was so difficult hide my astonishment that she didn't know these things! She is in her 30s at least and has no children but is married. I'd like to know just what planet she's been living on. To be that educated and not know these simple facts is mindblowing to me. Oh well, I hope I educated her a little bit.

6. Hey, at least she asked you!!!

If she's married she can just ask her husband who to vote for.
Or if she's religious, her minister can counsel her ...
(a woman I know voted for Poppy Bush because, "Pastor told us to.")

(Edited to point out that the above is sarcasm)

Still, talk of not allowing people to vote makes me nervous. The Repubs are already thinking of enough ways to disenfranchise us.

7. I do wish they would not say Kerry did his purple hearts.
Do they know what that does to all those poor kids that died and do have PH? My mother's brother is in his grave and it lists he has 2 purple hearts. Makes it sound like something cheap.
