Who could forget that election night 2000, after Gore had called and conceded the election and then called * back and took it back? Rmember reports of the conversation - * getting hostile and angry? Of course you do.
Perhaps you also recall Don Evans, who got up in front of the masses and the TV cameras and nervously, oh so nervously, gave a statement on the * campaign's behalf, about * being duly elected and all that. I remember that his nervousness paralleled and amplified the nervousness of Poppy Bush in that Hotel Room that night, while his son described in so many words that the fix ws in in Florida. (Parenthetically, Former Atty. Gen'l Thornburgh was using the same language as * about PA that night and was genuinely surprised when the stte went for Gore. He was quite befuddled. Guess they couldn't hack in in time or whatever.)
Well, last night, Don Evans was nervous again, interviewed by Tweety about the weapons and the campaign. He had lost that confident edge - he was repeating non sequitur talking point phrases, not answering the questions - stammering and just plain looking bad and sounding worse. They know they're doomed and they're afraid, very afraid, that the whole house of cards will fall. They created a Teflon Prez but what they forgot ws that once Teflon scratches, everything sticks to it. God only knows what was done and they'll only have a couple months to delete, hid, and shred everything.
Better get moving.

then, extending the analogy, Kerry will be the seasoned cast-iron president.
Time-tested, polished, solid, and nothing stick if you keep it seasoned.
Ahhh :) Cookware analogies!
