Kerry up by 17 pts. in Fla. early voting!

From Quinnipiac Poll:

<http://www.quinnipiac.edu/x12942.xml?ReleaseID=488>

Among the 16 percent of Florida voters who say they already have cast ballots, Kerry is ahead 56 - 39 percent.

What does this mean, number crunchers? What were the #'s in '00?

1. As beautiful as that sounds, I'm not sure I like these polls
coming out.... on principle. I don't think results should be released until everyone votes.

But still, YAY!!!!:-D

3. I don't know what this particular result means
but I do know that in the past it was usually republicans who voted early or absentee

Must be a very good sign

5. The left is usually more politically active
This isnt far from what I expect. I do think Kerry will take Florida, but not by 16 points.

7. That figure is based on the responses of about 150-200 people

I wouldn't put a lot of confidence into that number.

8. Does Anyone Know Historical Trends for Early Voting?
Do Republicans usually show up early? It is a representative cross-section of the electorate? Helps to put the 56-39 in context.

9. No kidding--trust me, the numbers will be much closer
No one should fool themselves into thinking there'll be a MA-sized gap in Florida.
